We recommend to start this tour at the Chapel in Landsmarka. The trail has good signs with red markers. The trail takes you quickly forward to a old place and looking a bit in the woods so you can find an old burial mound. The trip up to the top takes about 1 hour.

On top you reach a high fire tower. Tower (16m high) stood first on Agriculture Exhibition at Ekeberg summer 1959. In the cabin at the top set the duty throughout the summer as scouted by wildfire, until light aircraft took over. 

Go slightly away from the fire tower and onto viewpoints, so you get a wonderful view over Landsmarka against Ulefoss Fen, Luberg and telecommunications tower at Bron.

If you start the trip from Hovland, then it goes slack up on a mossy timber route through spruce and varied woodland. Steeper last part. You pass a particularly lush watch with thermophilic plants and trees. Currently partially labeled, please use the map on the first trip. There are fine bath places along the trail.
