Telemark Art Museum displays art in a beautiful industrial hall from the beginning of the last century.

The rich artistic and cultural heritage from Telemark has a national value. Telemark Art Museum shows changing exhibitions with current contemporary art and historical exhibitions with art from the Norwegian Golden Age.

The museum offers activities for the whole family, has a museum shop and café. The Telemark Art Museum is co-located with the World Heritage Center in Notodden and has a joint entrance ticket.

Telemark Art Museum is an arena where visitors can experience national art treasures and high-quality contemporary art. We are a center of expertise for the region and contribute to the dissemination of art in a national perspective. Telemark Art Museum has a number of events and communication services for all its exhibitions. 

The art collection's main focus is on Telemark's role in art history, national romanticism, and on the transition to modern Norway in the early 20th century. The museum facilitates the production of contemporary art rooted in the museum's collections and thematic areas of responsibility, and seeks to combine international relevance with a regional art history.

The Telemark Art Museum is located at Tinfos in Notodden in a beautiful protected industrial park. The museum has a large and free car park, and the entire facility is adapted for the disabled.
